Eaten by Zombieland (and Bill Murray) at SXSW

Adam Reid and Christopher Harrison at SXSW 2010

On behalf of  Mr. Wonderful and HELLO LONESOME, Christopher Harrison and I went to the land of breakfast tacos and the Alamo Drafthouse as finalists in the first ever SXSW Excellence in Title Design Awards. We were up for the award along with Up In The Air, Where The Wild Things Are, Zombieland and a bunch of other awe inspiring title design sequences. In the end, the bloody awesome Zombieland titles won the top prize. In case you’re interested, here is the nominated title sequence.

We saw a ton of films including SXSW Narrative Jury Award winner  Tiny Furniture by Lena Dunham, and the SXSW Premeire of Get Low starring Bill Murray and Robert Duval.

The very best thing about being invited to SXSW? Besides the great food and cool people and a hip yet somehow inspirational vibe… the laurels. Check out these bad boys, I photoshopped them up this morning. Look for them on a Hello Lonesome site near you soon.

Hot laurel action for Hello Lonesome
